Material Technologies, Inc. COO: 'Engineer, Pioneer, Advocate'

Los Angeles, CA-February 18, 2008 --Material Technologies Inc. (OTCBB: MTTG-News; "MATECH") announced today that its COO, Marybeth Miceli, was featured on Engineering Crossing, an online engineering career community. Ms. Miceli was named one of Engineering Crossing's 'Engineering Star(s).'

Interviewer Akbar Ali, detailed Ms. Miceli's education, career path, and work to get young people involved in engineering. He additionally dubbed Ms. Miceli as Engineer, Pioneer, Advocate for her career's work, calling her "the rarest of rare when it comes to engineers."

As COO, Ms. Miceli supervises and directs all company operations including engineering and laboratory operations, bridge inspections, research and development, contract execution, business development, quality assurance, technical presentations, administration operations, and interfacing with government agencies, investors, and media. Her areas of expertise include infrastructure management, nondestructive evaluation, materials testing, failure analysis, structural remaining life assessment, transportation planning, interagency coordination, traffic engineering, and marketing.
